RunGo is the most popular running app for discovering the best routes in the world with turn-by-turn voice navigation.
RunGo’s mission from the beginning was always to help people have a better running experience and to keep them safe and enroute while running, so in March 2020 when COVID-19 halted the world for fitness, RunGo was there.
RunGo recognized that running was exploding in popularity as personal well-being was a priority. Races were desperately seeking creative ways to continue, and hotels were scrambling to adapt. Virtual support was the answer.
Within two months, the team at RunGo innovated and created features to advance hotels with digital solutions and provide runners with immersive virtual experiences for races.
RunGo Hotel Guides was developed to offer contactless hotel recommendations and mapping for local experiences that support the hotels and their surrounding businesses.
BMO Vancouver Marathon was the first to use RunGo technology for its virtual races. From there, RunGo expanded its technology to support hundreds of races including the Canada Running Series, Lululemon SeaWheeze and the RunGo Dash for Dogs.
Non-profits, including Run for Women and The Arthritis Foundation, fundraised millions of dollars through these experiences.
