Trek Dirt Series

Access a world of outdoor adventure at a Trek Dirt Series mountain bike camp. In 2020, the Dirt Series will be offering 24 unique camps in amazing locations throughout Western Canada and the U.S.

Originally created to help more women discover the incredible sport of mountain biking, this year, 19 camps will still be women-specific while 5 will be co-ed.

“I learned awesome skills, met amazing people, and feel so much more connected to and aware of the female riding community,” said Adrienne Schofhauser, who participated in the Whistler camp.

At a Trek Dirt Series mountain bike camp, you’ll get personalized instruction and skilled, supportive coaches. Whether you’re a beginner with few skills or an experienced rider who wants to learn new techniques, there’s a camp to fit your needs. By the end of the experience, you’ll see your skills improve, gain technical knowledge and be inspired by your own progress.

“The Trek Dirt Series isn’t just a weekend,” explains Heidi Allen, a Park City camp participant. “It’s a whole frame of mind, and a key to the best riding experiences one could ever imagine.”

Most camps are held over two-days on the weekend with morning skill development sessions, afternoon instructional rides and a Saturday evening social with bike maintenance, suspension and fit clinics. Participants are divided into small groups with similar skills sets with a low student to teacher ratio ensuring each person receives the individual attention they need.

“People come away with newfound confidence in their riding,” explains Trek Dirt Series founder Candace Shadley, “but the part I love best is how it spills over into everyday life – the knowledge that you can learn something new, grow in a supportive environment and do things you never thought possible.
