Now is the time to book that adventure holiday you have been coveting. There is no better area to explore than Revelstoke – steeped in history and a perfect base to enjoy summer activities.

Nestled between the Monashee and Selkirk Mountain Ranges in southeastern B.C. there is an abundance to see and do from hiking in Mt. Revelstoke National Park and mountain biking at Mt. Macpherson or Boulder Mountain, to golfing at Revelstoke’s championship golf club, and enjoying family activities at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

There is so much to take in that staying a minimum of two nights is recommended. Tourism Revelstoke has partnered with a variety of local hotels, inns, B&B’s and resorts with an amazing array of summer offers.

Mountain Biking

No matter what your ability or skill level, there are bike trails for everyone: cross country, downhill, and epic alpine trails! And when you stay two or more nights, you’ll be giving back, as Tourism Revelstoke will donate $10 to the Revelstoke Cycling Association. These dollars are put towards the maintenance of existing trails and will help fund the construction of new ones.

Golfing

Stay two nights or more and receive 25 per cent off green fees at the Revelstoke Golf Club. There are amazing views of the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains from this Par 72, 18-hole golf course. With a driving range and restaurant, the golf club caters to all abilities.

Free National Park Passes

With two national parks at its doorstep – Mt. Revelstoke and Glacier – the adventure opportunities are endless. From September 1st, a group national parks pass is free with every two-night stay booked directly with Revelstoke accommodation providers. Valued at $20, the pass allows up to seven people arriving in a single vehicle to explore the parks at their leisure.

Booking directly with Revelstoke accommodation providers helps the local economy and supports business. “There is a common misconception that booking through third party websites, such as Expedia or Booking.com, is a great way to save money. In reality, our local providers will offer you their best rate (which is usually comparable or better than a third-party site), and they will also benefit from not losing the commission to these large companies, which can range from 15 to 30 per cent,” says Meghan Tabor, Marketing & Destination Director, Tourism Revelstoke.

In addition to the summer offers, families can enjoy a five-day suggested itinerary. The itinerary features a blend of amazing things to see and do and takes the headache out of planning daily activities for the whole family.
