The 2020 Scotiabank Calgary Marathon has released ribbon and medal designs for their 2020 event on May 31. Featuring landmarks familiar to local runners, the new medals depict the iconic Bow River and Peace Bridge. See the new designs below!
The Roundup Medals
As pictured, the GoodLife Fitness 5KM medal, featuring the river and the city, connects with all other race distance medals to create a Calgary cityscape as seen from the Peace Bridge. Roundup participants will receive two of these special medals, the first when they race in the morning, and the second when they run or walk again at noon.
The 50KM Relay Medals
The 2020 50KM Relay medals also feature the Peace Bridge and the Bow River. When you and your team finish you can lay them together in a star design. The design is planned to stay the same for a number of years to allow runners to collect four and make their very own star.
