Ruffwear’s Polar Trex dog boots perform well in the polar vortex conditions of Canadian winter. The zippered gaiter provides enough stretch and coverage to keep snow from slipping inside the boot cuff and the Vibram sole provides significant traction and protection from the elements. They were easy to get on compared to similar boots from other manufacturers. Once on, the boots provided a secure fit without much worry of over-tightening and needed little adjustment.
It’s also worth noting Ruffwear offers 0.25″ size increments. The boots are available in sets of four, or in pairs if your dog has different sized front and back feet.
Available in pairs ($50) or sets of four ($99) at www.ruffwear.com.
