When the weather outside is frightful, it’s time to look delightful

There’s no avoiding winter weather in Canada! So get yourself prepared and ready to face the snow and ice with these stylish looks from top outdoor brands.

Warm, windproof running wear and cozy ski clothing is shown here modelled by three Olympians who are well versed in winter conditions.

Kim McRae, spent her career hurtling down luge tracks around the world at speeds up to 130 km / hr. She’s a daredevil who’s not afraid to go fast and is now pursuing a degree in nursing from the University of Calgary.

Jesse Lumsden followed a similar icy path, but this time down the bobsleigh track. The former CFL football player played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders before turning to bobsleigh. Today he’s pursuing business interests in Calgary.

Denny Morrison is one of Canada’s most decorated speed skaters who competed in four Olympics winning a gold medal, two silvers and a bronze. He is currently completing an undergraduate degree at the U of C and hopes to skate onwards into a career in medicine.
