If you love super foods, you no doubt know about Acai berries. Acai berries contain antioxidants, fibre, heart-healthy fats and aid in digestion, weight loss and boost immunity for good health. Grown in the Amazon, the most famous Brazilian recipe is Acai na tigela, which means acai in a bowl. Here is a super quick Acai smoothie.
- 2 frozen acai packs
- 2 medium bananas
- ¼ cup milk or coconut milk
- Honey or agave nectar (to taste)
Place all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth, about 1 minute. Divide the mixture between glasses and serve. Feel free to add other berries to taste.
