Feature Gymnasium
The Genesis Centre Feature Gym boasts 30,000 square feet of space across three dividable full-size courts (or combined to form one feature court), suitable for basketball, volleyball, badminton, floor hockey, futsal, soccer & many other activities. Additional features include elevated spectator seating, change rooms with showers and lockers, and a dedicated parking lot.
This space can also be transformed as a special event venue featuring a built-in stage, professional audio-visual equipment, catering kitchen, loading dock, dedicated parking lot, reception area, and dressing rooms. Ideal for graduations, concerts, weddings, galas, dinners, and trade shows. Maximum occupancy 1,000-1,500 depending on floor plan.
Community Gymnasium
The Genesis Centre Community Gym represents 10,000 square feet of gym space ideal for sport usage, as well as smaller concerts, weddings, galas, dinners, and conferences. The space features a built-in sound system, drop-down curtains, and dressing rooms.
Turfed Field Houses
Choose your sport! Suitable for soccer, lacrosse, football, field hockey, lawn bowling, ultimate, fencing, tennis, baseball, and more. Each field house at the Genesis Centre has regulation lines for soccer, lacrosse, and tennis, as well as a score clock and dedicated lacrosse shot clocks.
Multi-Purpose Spaces
A variety of flexible spaces are here suitable for fitness/dance classes, active living programming, meetings, birthday parties, banquets, conferences, weddings, and other community-based events. The multi-purpose rooms offer both large and small dividable options based on the number of participants or attendees. Genesis Centre spaces include two boardrooms and a large multi-purpose room, which can be broken into two spaces with a pull across sound barrier wall. Spaces feature sound systems, access to wi-fi, and projectors.
Sport Court Dry Pad
In the spring and summer months a sport court is laid down in one of the Genesis Centre field houses which is the ideal surface for ball hockey, roller hockey, roller derby, lacrosse, handball, and ultimate.
Sport Rentals
Space for your next tournament, game, or practice! Whether you’re an organized league, a group of friends, or community organization there is a space at the Genesis Centre to accommodate almost every variety of sports and activities.
Special Events Rentals
Host events of all types at the Genesis Centre – including graduations, weddings, galas, dinners, trade shows, meetings, and concerts. In addition to securing the venue the Genesis team will gladly help coordinate catering, audio/visual equipment, tables, chairs, and everything that you would need for a successful event.
