The Skinny on Booze
Yu in the Zu is a cocktail filled with healthy ingredients and is served at The Coup in Calgary.
- 3 large rosemary spears
- ½ oz. ea. fresh juiced lemon, lime
- 1 oz. fresh juiced orange
- 1 tsp. yuzu marmalade
- 1.5 oz. bourbon
- ¼ oz. maple syrup
- 1 egg white
- ½ oz. fresh beet juice
- Pluck 2 rosemary spears and muddle in a shaker.
- Add lemon, lime, orange, yuzu marmalade, bourbon, maple syrup and egg white and shake without ice for 30 seconds.
- Add ice to a rocks glass and pour mixture in.
- Add beet juice to swirl on top.
- Garnish with a rosemary spear.
