Letters: May/June 2016
Letters published in IMPACT Magazine's Outdoor and Multisport Issue – May/June 2016.
I picked up your magazine with casual intentions, but it didn’t work out that way. This is a GOOD magazine! I may not be interested in all pages (yet), but I like the variety of information presented: exercises advice, product information, opinions (and inspirations in this January/February issue), nutritional info and recipes, area activities. I didn’t care about the travel part, but so what.
I’m noticing at the fitness centre I go to that about half the crowd seems “older,” but maybe that varies with time of day. Regardless, I’d like to see a few more articles focussed more on us reluctantly aging folks — like your anti-aging exercise article. I bet you could almost devote an entire section to us old farts. I look forward to the next issue. I see a few around on the exercise floor being used — that’s gotta be good news for you. Good work!

When I first started training as a runner with the Sun Run InTraining Program in 2014, I was excited to discover your magazine’s Running Issue. For a beginner, I find it inspiring to read about other people’s achievements and I really like the articles on how to improve, not only your running/training, but your nutrition. Most of all, I look forward to the Race Guide to see what to consider and sign-up for. Each race I’m registered for keeps me motivated to continue training because without a goal, it’s very easy to sink into couch potatoness.

Ready To Race
I have been an avid IMPACT reader for many years. Thank you for the entries to the Narrow Road Run in High River from your 2016 Race Entries Giveaways contest. I look forward to running this event with my daughter. IMPACT is a great magazine. I appreciate all the great information on shoes, events and training. I believe the articles are helping me become the best runner I can be.
